Education & AccreditationThe Sherwood Group develops and manages accredited educational and learning programs that meet the needs of our clients and their constituent groups, licensing bodies, employers and customers. More than half of the associations we manage require or offer CE, CEU, CME or CMLE credit. Sherwood develops and manages testing processes and online learning programs, as well as a variety of other learning and standard-setting programs. Sherwood has directed the development of successful alternative education programs for clients, often involving partnerships with accredited universities, related organizations or third-party vendors. Sherwood currently supports directly ACCME accreditation for some of its clients, as well as accreditation through academic and commercial partner providers. Sherwood is currently pursuing its own direct ACCME accreditation, a rigorous process scheduled for completion in 2009. At that time, clients will also have the option of receiving CME credit directly from Sherwood. Sherwood also offers a variety of third party and internal online abstract submission, review and conference scheduling options. These programs include the automated management and production of CME certificates, post-meeting surveys and other features to improve efficiency and/or the end-user experience and benefits. |
